Trailer 2.0

The new trailer is here: one minute of real in-game footage, no mock-ups and no edits to the fights. Everything you see is the game running in a browser.

What to look for

• The CLASH. Right at the start, two jets of water meet in the middle of the arena. When two beams collide, they push against each other until one side gives. Timing and power decide who wins.
• Evolution in the middle of a fight. Pokémon grow as the match goes on and evolve right there, with new moves and a bigger presence. Charmander becomes Charmeleon, then Charizard, without leaving the arena.
• Mega Evolution. Some Pokémon can go beyond their final form. Watch the glow, the new look and the new move set.
• Ultimates. Every Pokémon has one big finisher. They are loud, they are bright and they can turn a match around.
• ARENA MODE. Up to six trainers in a free-for-all, with everyone's projectiles flying at the same time. Chaos, in the best way.
• The finale. Mega Charizard X's Blast Burn goes head to head with Blastoise's Hydro Cannon. We will not spoil the winner.
